I met Scout at the New Living Expo while I was out to get free samples at a smoothie stand. He was a big bear of a dude, wearing a purple suit, purple boots and purple beard to match. We get into conversation and he offers to give me a powerful energy reading and meditation. l let my guards completely down, I feel open, expansive, powerful, light, and clear, close to tears at the end of it.
I gift him an Awareness reMINDmeband from my wrist (also purple!) and tell him about my mission, how I interview people to share life nuggets about humanity. He looks at me for 5 seconds and says “I’ve got a crazy idea” andinvites me to his morning radio talkshow so I can do a raw interview with him there. Apparently, I was talking to the host of the longest running Personal Growth radio programs in the nation.
Sparks of electricity ran throughout my system as I stared into the mic and felt the energy of 15,000 listeners on the other end. And as I spoke, I was taken aback at how smooth and grounded and sure my voice was as I fell more into my body. I took myself out of control and spoke from the heart about my project and directed my attention solely on him. At the end, I had his endorsement of my work and my craft of how intimate the whole experience had felt from his side.
So lesson learned: Listen to the voice. Go for free samples if that’s your desire. Be generous with your time and attention. Feel the impact of every small to big thing you do. #POWER

Karma Tribe is about a new lifestyle where you recognize the abundance, where you love selflessly and compassionately and you can connect through others by the act of sharing. Check out their top 5 Values!
I followed my passion and do what I love to do. I wander and interview people from all walks of life and learn as much as I can about the human experience. I do this to asking a simple question: "What are your top 5 values?" By expressing curiosity, placing exquisite attention, and holding space, I connect with and help people unearth who they were, who they are, and who they want to be....
I took on a five-week band challenge after meeting Tiffany through some mutual friends in Taipei. It was the end of the calendar year, and I was interested to do a ‘personal inventory’ that would help me to verbalize and examine some of my recent development, and give me some ideas to move forward with. I didn’t map out all five weeks in advance, because I preferred to allow the journey to inform itself, and to unfold as a voyage of discovery. In the end, I traveled through Patience, Pride, Curiosity, Integrity and Freedom.
Moving forward, I feel that I will be more diligent in exercising values in my daily life, and especially my interpersonal relations. Having spent five weeks examining and labeling my life with vocabulary related to values, I am more likely to contemplate which element of my own system of values I would like to exercise when I find myself in a complicated situation that requires action. The band challenge is an fun and versatile method for exploring conscience and consciousness, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in expanding and diversifying their understanding of personal identity.

I found Aria Reed’s Instagram Page @happimethod just randomly browsing my feed one day. I commented on one of her many inspirational messages (MIND OVER MATTER) and soon enough we started talking through DM, and then emails back and forth. We bonded over the similarities of our background and how we had felt misunderstood growing up. We shared stories of strength and an inner knowing that we are exactly where we need to be today.
I’m greatly humbled by the universal forces of connecting with another kindred spirit who spreads the message through HappiMethod “Humans Are Not Broken” as reMINDme preaches “You Are Not Alone”
Within the underlying message lies a profound knowing that we as a collective human species are all in this together and that our Purpose is to pool our collective energy to transcend our pain into purpose, hate into love. Especially during this time.
So after Burning Man, I packed my bags and went to LA to meet the women I met on Instagram. We met at a lounge in North Hollywood and sat talking nonstop. It was around 11 PM when we realized we’ve been chatting for 9 hours straight! Looking back, it was the sort of conversation that naturally flowed into the greater picture of bigger possibilities. The belief that we can inspire humanity while we are learning what we are preaching all the same, gaining strength and support knowing that we aren’t alone along the way.
Below is the interview as Aria opens up about her beliefs and positive views for how we can all shape the reality we want to create.
This post marks three different experiences I had with Aweli, Intuitive Healer and Reiki Practitioner.
I write this to reflect on the word breathe and to process the events leading up to surrender.
Enclosed is a true story of my two hour healing session and how my mind and body mentally/physically felt when being pulled to access and release past trauma.
